USAK CITY

                Usak is located next to Ankara-Izmir  highway and far from 371km to Ankara and 211km to İzmir.Transportation is provided by the bus station in town for all cities in Turkey.Also minibuses are used for public transportation for nearest  destination.

KARUN TREASURES

                Lyda and Greko-Pers tumuluses (BC.6century) 25 km west of USAK city are located near narrow plain being feeded by Hermos(Gediz) River North of Gure Village next to Usak-Izmir highway.

                Robberies on this field  begun with illegal excavation of TOPTEPE Tumulus in 1965.According to these robbers’ expression,most part of treasure were found on the kline which the corpse being laid down with a pinch of hair and bones which had turned into dust,even though a silver jug and great amount of marble alabastron had been destroyed by a hatıl fallen down from the ceiling.

ESME CARPETS

                Carpets made at Esme city of Usak are called Esme Carpets.These carpets’ reputation is spreaded to lots of countries besides our country.Yarns made from wool,cotton,angora wool and bristle are used on carpets made  at Esme and its villages especially on winter season.
